Rahul Gandhi Addresses Farmers in Andhra Pradesh: Highlights

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today began his 10 km-long ‘padyatra’ from a village in the district to highlight the issues faced by farmers and women Self-Help Groups.

  • Promises to fight for bright future for families where farmer committed suicide

  • Won’t let government take away famers’ land easily

  • Speaks on protecting rights of farmers and also labourers in Land Bill

  • Attacks Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP and YSR Congress saying they are not taking to the streets demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh
