Mumbai: Doctors attending to Indrani Mukerjea at Mumbai’s JJ hospital have said the next 48 hours will be critical for the former media executive.
Ms Mukerjea, who is accused of murdering her daughter Sheena Bora, was rushed to JJ Hospital on Friday afternoon from the Byculla women’s jail after she complained of “uneasiness”.
Sources in the police have said she might have attempted suicide. Doctors attending to her say they are investigating whether she overdosed on prescription drugs.
