Chennai: Senior Congress leader and former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram has joined the popular micro blogging site Twitter and says he is on board for sharing serious views.
His official Twitter handle is @PChidambaram_IN.
In his first Tweet posted at 11.25 pm yesterday, the former Union Finance Minister said:

Some had requested the former minister’s son, Karti, who is on the micro blogging site since 2009 to confirm if it was a genuine Twitter account of his father.
He confirmed it and, replying to some of the queries on his father’s Twitter account said “Better late than never.”
So far, Mr Chidambaram has made 11 tweets, he is following seven and has 4,196 followers.
